ERASMUS+ STAFF MOBILITY
General information
1. ERASMUS+ staff mobility for TEACHING
Teaching staff mobility enables staff to spend a teaching period between 1 day - or at least 5 teaching hours – and 6 weeks at a higher education institution in another participating country.
2. ERASMUS+ staff mobility for TRAINING
Staff mobility for training enables teaching and other staff (Erasmus+ coordinators, administrative staff, librarians,…) to spend a period of training between 2 working days and 6 weeks in an enterprise or organisation such as a higher education institution in another participating country.
The objectives of staff mobility for TEACHING
- To encourage higher education institutions to broaden and enrich the range and content of courses they offer;
- To allow students who do not have the possibility to participate in a mobility scheme, to benefit from the knowledge and expertise of academic staff from higher education institutions and from invited staff of enterprises in other European countries;
- To promote exchange of expertise and experience on pedagogical methods;
- To create links between higher education institutions and enterprises;
- To motivate students and staff to become mobile and to assist them in preparing a mobility period.
The objectives of staff mobility for TRAINING
- To allow the staff of higher education institutions to acquire knowledge or specific know-how from experience and good practices abroad as well as practical skills relevant for their current job and their professional development;
- To help building up cooperation between higher education institutions and enterprises;
- To motivate students and staff to become mobile and to assist them in preparing a mobility period.
Application procedure for teaching staff mobility
- The interested teaching staff should contact the respective departmental coordinator of the host institution (University of Presov). List of all Erasmus+ coordinators is found here: UNIPO Erasmus+ Coordinators ►
- The departmental coordinator and the interested teaching staff must have agreed on the Teaching programme prior to the start of the mobility period. They agree on the DATE OF MOBILITY and TOPICS OF LECTURES. Teachers get blank Teaching programmes at their home institutions.

- Confirmed Teaching programme (signed and stamped by the sending institution and signed by the teaching staff and departmental coordinator) should be sent to the International Relations Office (the scan copy is acceptable) to the email address: erika.cechova@unipo.sk
- After approving the Teaching programme by the Erasmus+ Institutional Coordinator, the programme is sent to the interested teaching staff.
- The confirmation of the teaching staff mobility is issued by the International Relations Office of the University of Presov. The visiting teacher (accompanied by the departmental coordinator) should pick up the confirmation at the International Relations Office, Mgr. Erika Čechová (Rectorate, 3rd floor).
IMPORTANT
We are very sorry but without the valid inter-institutional agreement and approved Teaching programme we cannot accept the mobility requests.
