We would like to draw your attention to: Winter School of Translation 2026
The Winter School of Translation is an event that helps students of translation and interpreting establish contact with professionals from practice and develop skills important for their future profession. It is also an opportunity for agencies, publishing houses, and institutions to meet motivated participants who will shape the future of our profession.
Previous editions have received exceptionally positive feedback—more than 200 participants took part, engaging in discussions, workshops, and lectures.
This year you can look forward to a wide range of topics including literary and audiovisual translation, European institutions, interpreting (including sign language), translation agencies, as well as new topics: artificial intelligence in translation, mental health, legal protection of professionals, and Slovak literary production in a foreign language.
