The MEMPHIS information system replaces IS BRISK in the area of ​​registry management. The change is implemented within the framework of the development project of the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Slovak Republic no. 03PU-2-3/2016 entitled Development of the research and technical infrastructure of the University of Prešov in Prešov by the implementation of the activity Development of the registry administration IS , the goal of which is the transition to a new version of the IS, increasing the functionality of the IS and the integration of the registry administration IS with the Central Portal of Public Administration (UPVŠ) .

Microsoft Edge - browser configuration for work at IS Memphis
Internet  Explorer 11 Internet browser , which is currently used for work at IS Memphis, ends on June 15, 2022  and will be removed from the operating system. For this reason, it is necessary to switch to the Microsoft Edge browser and set the Internet Explorer mode.

In 2013, the University of Prešov in Prešov launched the BRISK information system as part of the implementation of the ITMS project 26110230032 Modernization and streamlining of university management. The goal of the project was to create conditions for improving the administration and management of the university using innovative technologies.

The BRISK information system streamlines:
- process management,
- electronic document management,
- registry management and
- electronic forms management

IS BRISK for administration and management has two main parts:
- automated administration of the registry and
- administration of processes and electronic documents.
