RESEARCH AREA

• biodiversity and plant gene pool protection with a focus on medicinal, aromatic and spice plants
• agroecological aspects of production biomass and secondary metabolites of plants
• genetics and breeding of special plant species
• isolation of natural substances from medicinal plants and their characterization in relation to ecological environmental factors
• biological effects of plant extracts and essential oils

• Project VEGA 2/0018/20: Direct and indirect impact of invasive plant species on the biodiversity of soil micro- and meso-fauna. Vice project leader. Solution period 2020 - 2023.

• Project VEGA  1/0087/20. Štúdium biologickej aktivity metabolitov inváznych a pôvodných druhov rastlín so zameraním na ich potenciálne herbicídne a insekticídne vlastnosti. Zástupca vedúceho projektu.
