Explanations for Applicants Regarding Study Options at the Bachelor’s Degree Level at the Faculty of Arts of the University of Prešov in the Academic Year 2025/2026

Standard Study Programs:

• English Language and Anglophone Cultures – If applicants have not taken their secondary school-leaving examination in Slovakia, they can prove the required language proficiency with an internationally recognized certificate. Only FCE and IELTS scores of at least 5.5 will be accepted, and certificates must be officially certified.

Teacher Training Programs:

• English Language and Literature in Combination – If applicants have not taken their secondary school-leaving examination in Slovakia, they can prove the required language proficiency with an internationally recognized certificate. Only FCE and IELTS scores of at least 5.5 will be accepted, and certificates must be officially certified.

Regarding the documents mentioned in the section "General Information on the Admission Process", point (e) for Bachelor’s studies has been supplemented with:
"The applicant is also required to provide proof of language proficiency if the secondary school-leaving examination includes a (foreign) language."
