Ján Drengubiak

Associate professor since 2018 (Literary criticism) and director of the Institute of Romance Studies, teaches history of French literature, theory of literature and the methodology of French as second language. He received a joint doctorate with a thesis L’œuvre de Richard Millet au regard de la mythocritique (The oeuvre of Richard Millet from the perspective of myth criticism) at the University of Prešov and the University Blaise Pascal in Clermont-Ferrand. Since then he published a monograph on the same author Richard Millet, du personnel vers l’universel (Richard Millet; from personal to universal). In his research he deals with the contemporary French and Quebec fiction and myth criticism, especially on Anne Hébert. He published more than fourty research papers in scientific journals and proceedings in Slovakia, Poland, Czech Republic and Hungary.
