Curriculum
The master's degree in European Studies is a two-year program (120 ECTS). The study plan maintains a balance between social sciences and humanities courses.

Graduates will have a broad and cross-cutting knowledge of disciplines pertaining to European studies. They will possess essential skills to properly diagnose and address challenges and processes that condition the current events on the European continent. They will be able to critically analyze, interpret, and evaluate varied historical, cultural, social, and religious phenomena.

- bachelor (BA) degree in European Studies or related fields of historical sciences, social sciences and humanities
- English language competence at B2 (CEFR level)
- no entrance examination

- Certified copy of your language examination certificate proving the required level of English proficiency at minimum level of B2 (IELTS, TOEFL, etc.) or an official document issued by your previous university stating that you have completed the bachelor studies in English (confirming that the language of instruction was English)

- Motivation letter - a maximum of 500 words indicating why the applicant wishes to start the programme

Scholarships
At the University of Prešov, outstanding academic performance is rewarded through a merit-based scholarship system. Up to 10% of full-time Bachelor's and Master's degree students may receive a motivational scholarship every semester, based on previous exceptional academic achievements.
