Education and Work Experience:

He studied at the Faculty of Philosophy and Arts (University of Pavol Jozef Šafárik, Prešov) and the Faculty of Philosophy and Arts (Charles University, Prague) – MA1992. He has the doctorate from Comenius University in Bratislava (doctoral thesis “The end of metaphysics and Plato” under the supervision of Prof. Miroslav Marcelli) – PhD. 2000. He qualified at the Prešov University – associate professor in 2002. He is professor of the history of philosophy at the Institute of Philosophy since 2018.

Ancient philosophy (Sophist and Socratics), Ancient ethics (Antisthenes, Diogenes of Sinope, Cynicism, Socratic Movement) and its reflection (Nietzsche, Heidegger, Patočka, Foucault, Deleuze).
