Theologos is a peer-reviewed international scientific journal published twice a year by the Greek Catholic Theological Faculty of the University of Presov in Presov. The journal serves as a platform for open, critical, and competent scientific discussion of pressing issues in theology, religious studies (mainly philosophy, psychology, and sociology of religion) and Christian history, as well as related topics from philosophy, education and law. While cherishing its interdisciplinary nature, the journal’s primary focus is on exploring the theological and religious intersections between East and West, the environment of Eastern Orthodox Christianity and Western, Latin Christianity, as these are experienced and reflected in the life of the Greek Catholic Church. It aspires to serve as a bridge between these two rich, complementary, and overlapping worlds (especially in Eastern Slovakia and the adjacent geographical regions), bringing out the treasures of both traditions to the light of academic and public scrutiny. The Journal invites international scholars and doctoral candidates, especially from Central and Eastern Europe, to contribute to this ongoing endeavor. The Journal offers Open Access (OA) - on-line free access to scientific information for users without time limitation.
