Spoločnosť pre estetiku na Slovensku a IEUK FF PU v Prešove organizačne pripravili prvé podujatie SPES v roku 2019 v rámci cyklu Estetické fórum. Pozvaná prednáška dr. Tufana Acila (Institut für Philosophie an der Freien Universität Berlin) s názvom Media Transformations and Convergences sa uskutočnila utorok 5. marca 2019 o 14:00 v priestoroch študovne Univerzitnej knižnice PU v Prešove.

Krátka anotácia prednášky v anglickom jazyku: In the contemporary aesthetic research, the term ‘medium’ is widely used to designate a specific kind of material existence: Media are being considered not only as technical or electronic devices such as computers, DVDs, Iphones, but also clothes, money, human body, voice, the air, glasses, cars, airplanes, water etc. Instead of such a material-oriented unterstanding of medium, this contribution follows a praxeological approach and focuses specifically on the question how the media are generally used and generated in aesthetic and epistemic contexts.
