Doctoral studies (PhD.) in academic year 2024/2025
ADMISSION PROCEDURE
The Dean of the Faculty of Orthodox Theology of Prešov University in Prešov announces the admission procedure for part-time form of doctoral studies in the academic year 2024/2025 for graduates of the second level of university studies in the field of study:
- Theology
- Social work
Applicants for doctoral studies are enrolled on the Application form for doctoral studies with the required annexes. The application will include personal data, the name of the study program, the selected topic of the dissertation and the form of study. Attached to the application:
- curriculum vitae with education data
- certified copy of diploma (Mgr.) and certificate,
- confirmation of completed practice after graduation (if completed),
- list of published works (if published)
- list of results of other professional activity (if performed)
- personal questionnaire
- Dissertation project (also in English - compulsory)
- coupon for payment of the fee 50 € stuck on the 3rd page of the application (Account name: Faculty of Orthodox Theology PU in Prešov; Account number: SK70 8180 0000 0070 0008 1324, BIC: SPSRSKBA; Variable symbol 106008; Constant symbol: 0558; Address: Faculty of Orthodox Theology PU of Prešov, Masarykova 15, 080 01 Prešov, Slovakia).
The application must be sent to the Secretariat of the Dean's Office of the Orthodox Theological Faculty PU in Prešov, Masarykova 15, 080 01 Prešov no later than by June 15, 2025.
The admission procedure will take place on July 4, 2025 at 9.00 a.m. in the premises of faculty.
Part of the admission procedure for the field of study Orthodox Theology is an examination of knowledge of Orthodox theology (especially biblical, systematic and practical divinity) and one world language.
The Faculty will not accept applications for doctoral studies, which will be submitted after the deadline, respectively. will not have the requisite details. Further information can be obtained from the PBF Dean's Department in Prešov.
Doctoral studies in external form are subject to tuition fees of 990 € / academic year for the study program Orthodox Theology.
The PhD. study is governed by the valid Study order of the University of Prešov in Prešov (third part).
