On 7-9 September 2022, the 40th International Conference on Mathematical Methods in Economics (MME 2022) was held at the College of Polytechnics Jihlava, Czech Republic. It was organized in cooperation with the Czech Society for Operational Research and Czech Econometric Society. Members of the Department of Finance, Accounting and Mathematical Methods, associate professor PhDr. Petra Vašaničová, PhD. and associate professor Ing. Sylvia Jenčová, PhD. actively participated in this conference. The contribution in the conference proceedings is one of the outputs of the project KEGA 001PU-4/2022.
