On 10-11 November 2022, the "Meeting of the Institute of Economic Research (MIER 2022)", organized by the Institute of Economic Research of the Slovak Academy of Sciences, took place in the Smolenice Castle. The Meeting aimed to bring together researchers and policy practitioners to present their work and discuss the wider implications of scientific outputs achieved while conducting their research.

At the meeting, professor Ing. Štefan Lyócsa, PhD., a member of the Department of Finance, Accounting and Mathematical Methods presented his research. Associate professor PhDr. Petra Vašaničová, PhD. and Mgr. Marta Miškufová, PhD., members of the Department of Finance, Accounting and Mathematical Methods took part in the event.
