From 24 to 31 August 2017, Ing. Beáta Šofranková, PhD. and Mgr. Veronika Čabinová participated in the international scientific conference Social Sciences and Arts SGEM 2017 (WoS), which took place in the seaside resort of Albena, Bulgaria.

Ing. Beáta Šofranková, PhD. talked about the issue of global competitiveness of Slovakia (The position of Slovakia in the context of the Global Competitiveness Index within the Visegrad Group) within the Finance section; her second contribution was focused on the analysis of tourism business performance based on the EPM model (Analysis of tourism enterprise performance evaluation by Enterprise Performance Model) and presented within the Economics and Tourism section. Ing. Beáta Šofranková, PhD. received the BEST SPEAKER award within the poster session and was offered the publication in the renowned scientific journal provided by the SGEM 2017 organizational team.
