He has been awarded the degree of an engineer (Ing.) at the Faculty of Business Administration of the University of Economics in Prague. He has finished his doctoral studies at the Faculty of Management at the University of Prešov in Prešov in the branch of study 3.3.15 Management. In 2011, he successfully defended his dissertation (PhD) thesis on the topic “The Analysis of Logistic Chains in Selected Healthcare Facilities in Slovakia with the Focus on e-Health”. Since 2011, he has worked as an assistant professor at the Department of Economics and Economy at the Faculty of Management and Business of the University of Prešov in Prešov and he is also a co-investigator of several successfully completed or currently implemented scientific-research projects. In 2014, he was awarded an Executive MBA degree after successful completion of postgraduate studies at Wyższa Szkoła Menedżerska in Warsaw. In his pedagogical and research activities he focuses on the issues of economics, business economics as well as logistics.
