He completed his university studies at the Department of Business and Management, the BERG Faculty (Faculty of Mining, Ecology, Process Control and Geotechnology) of the Technical University of Košice and was awarded a degree of an engineer (Ing.). He completed his PhD studies in the field of Sectoral Economics at the Department of Business and Management, the BERG Faculty of the Technical University of Košice. After successful defense of his doctoral thesis, which dealt with the problems of the impact of euro-integrational trends on economic performance of companies in the Slovak Republic, he was awarded an academic degree of PhD During his doctoral studies, he successfully completed a course of university engineering pedagogy (2012) organized by the international company IGIP with an international certificate. Since 2013, he has been working as an assistant professor at the Department of Economics and Economy at the Faculty of Management and Business of the University of Prešov in Prešov. In his publications he focuses on the area of macroeconomic indicators and the quality of life indicators. His publications also focus on the analysing the economic methods and models that deal with economic performance of enterprises. His pedagogical activities include teaching courses offered by the Department of Economics and Economy. He is an active member of research teams of currently implemented scientific and research projects.
