On the occasion of Teachers' Day, on April 15, 2019, the University of Prešov in Prešov appreciated work of the teachers at the ceremonial meeting of the academic community. On this occasion the Rector of the University of Prešov in Prešov Dr. h. c. prof. PhDr. Peter Kónya, PhD. described the achievements in the field of science and accreditation, education, international relations, informatisation, development and investment. In cooperation with individual faculties, the Rector awarded the Bronze, Silver and Gold Medal for many years of significant pedagogical and research activity and contribution to the development of the university.

Doc. Ing. Rastislav Kotulič, PhD. was awarded the Bronze Medal for a significant contribution to the development of the University of Prešov in Prešov.
