In 2008 she was awarded an academic degree of PhD in Sectoral and Branch Economics in Nitra by the Faculty of Economics and Management of the Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra. During her doctoral studies, she participated in a student mobility at the Agricultural University in Kraków.

She has been working as an assistant professor at the Department of Economics and Economy at the Faculty of Management and Business since September 2008.

She is a member of the Editorial Board of the Scientific Proceedings of the Department of Economics and Economy (ANNO).

She has been teaching subjects of Microeconomics, Business Economics and National Economy. She has also been teaching the Principles of Economics for foreign students (in English) or the Department of Economics and Economy. She has participated as a co-investigator in several successful scientific projects. She is an author and co-author of 76 scientific publications, including three scientific monographs and several university textbooks. In her research and publication activities she deals with an issue of organization and business management in the context of globalization and integration tendencies. Fifteen of her publications have been registered in the Web of Science database. Many of her publications have been cited and 59 citations are registered in Web of Sciences, or Scopus database.
