Abstract

This article talks about learning of Holy Mysteries by the Saint Clement of Rome. His teaching is presented in the context of solving problem within the local Church in Corinth which was one reason for writing his First letter to the Corinthians. Particular attention is devoted to the Holy Mysteries of the Confession, the Ordination and just marginally to the Eucharist with an emphasis on the way of explaining of this teaching. A comparison of learning about the Holy Mysteries by the Saint Clement of Rome, the New Testament teaching and learning post-apostles men is also outlined. The article highlights the extent to which the learning of the Saint Clement enriched various aspects of the orthodox ecclesiology and the relevance of his theology.
