TEACHING OF SAINT GREGORY OF NYSSA ABOUT SPIRITUAL WORLD (GOOD ANGELS)

Abstract

This study brings theological view on teaching of saint Gregory of Nyssa about spiritual world, i. e. good angels. We examine particular questions of nature of angels, time and method of their creation, relation of their nature to God's being and we pay attention to the question of the wisdom of angels and its relation toward the human wisdom and free will of the angels. At the end we mention the idea of saint Gregory about the question of continual spiritual expand of angels and we explain the essence of the angel's eulogies toward God.

SUMMARY

Nature of angels is opposite to everything sensitive. Terminated nature of angel and human spirit do not cross over the borders of space but by their attribute of spirituality they don't need to be in space dimensions so they appear momentary where they want. Angel as a spiritual being appears immediately where God's will 'send him. In spite of boundary of its understanding, angels know fullness of God's goodness and are aware of goal of their being which they achieve by getting of God's benignity. For this case to proceed so high goal of their existence them are endowed with wisdom and free will. For angel there is no any other action except to render honour to God. Angels celebrate God with wisdom, by immediate movement of mind with which they uncover own inner life. God desire after true love to Him and confession of Him with clear mind which manifest true celebration by man.
