She studied Culture and Tourism Management at the University of Konstantin Filozof in Nitra. She was awarded PhD degree after successfully completing her studies in the field of Economics and Management at the Faculty of Management of the University of Prešov in Prešov in 2021. In the academic year 2019/2020, she was awarded the Rector's Award of the University of Prešov in Prešov for her academic results and representation of the university. In her scientific research and publishing activities, she focuses on current problems of the tourism industry with an emphasis on quality management in tourism services. She is the author and co-author of a scientific monograph, university textbooks and many articles that were published in peer-reviewed domestic and foreign journals and conference proceedings. She currently works at the Faculty of Management, Economics and Business of the University of Prešov, where she lectures, conducts seminars and oversees diploma and bachelor's theses. She obtained her tourist guide license in 2007 at the Institute of Education in Košice.
