Several years of cooperation have brought a foreign PhD student from India
Athul S.R., a PhD student from the University of Tamilnadu in India, visited the Department of Physics, Mathematics and Technology at the Faculty of Humanities and Natural Sciences (FHPV) of the University of Prešov. He thus followed up on several years of long-term cooperation between the research groups of Professor Nagalakshmi Ramamoorthi from India and Professor Reiffers from our university.
The common scientific interests are focused on materials research, where various interesting physical properties such as the magnetocaloric effect or transport phenomena are studied. The two distant countries have already produced more than two dozen peer-reviewed publications in SCOPUS or Web of Science. We wish the PhD student from India many successful scientific days spent in the laboratories of the University of Prešov and the Department of Physics, Mathematics and Technology a lot of motivated students who will change the world for the better with their interest in natural sciences.
