The Board for Development and Information Technologies of the University of Presov is an advisory body to the Rector in accordance with Art. 13 par. 4 of the Statute of the University of Presov. It is established by the Rector's decision on the recommendation of the Vice-Rector for development, information technologies and quality assurance. Resolutions of the Board for Development and Information Technologies are in the form of recommendations for the bodies of the university's academic self-government, permanent advisory bodies of the Rector and other parts of the university.

The mission of the Board for Development and Information Technologies PU is to support and coordinate the development and improvement of the quality of information technologies with special emphasis on the introduction of new information and communication systems, didactic technology, modernization of teaching premises with the aim of comprehensive streamlining of informatization processes in active professional cooperation with the Centre of Computer Technologies.

Members and meetings of the Board for the Development and Information Technologies are regulated in detail by the Statute of the Board for the Development and Information Technologies of the University of Presov.
