University of Prešov issues the documents about graduation in accordance with Section 68 of Act No 131/2002 Coll. on University Education and on Amending and Supplementing Certain Law.

University of Prešov issues a Degree certificate (diploma) and a Diploma Supplement automatically and free of charge, to every bachelor, magister and PhD. student upon graduation.

The Diploma Supplement is a document attached to the university diploma. The purpose of the supplement is to provide sufficient independent data to improve the international transparency and fair academic and professional recognition of qualifications. It is designed to provide a description of the nature, level, context, content and status of the studies that were pursued and successfully completed by the individual named on the original qualification to which the supplement is appended.

The diploma is provided in Slovak and in English. The Diploma Supplement is issued in Slovak and English languages and contains the transcript of records.
