Abstract

The questions often have the most complex answers. Death has become a popular topic in contemporary philosophy and has fascinated philosophers who have pondered the puzzle for centuries. And far from having it all figured out, they are coming up with new angles and approaches, new ethical and metaphysical questions. The presented paper offers a contemporary overview of the emotionality of death, especially grief. Grief is part of the relevant reflections of the philosophy of death into the multiverse of current problems and challenges of our society. Thinking about death through its emotionality can be an answer through which man and society can remind themselves of the meaning of their presence.

SUMMARY

I assume we need to think about death and then talk about it. Generally, we realize that the decease of another is here or will be and that it also plays a role in our lives. The authenticity of death and mortality is about the emotionality we experience. In the emotional aspect, we experience basic emotions: fear, anxiety, hope, compassion, and grief. In my paper, I address the subject and nature of grief at the definitive loss of a loved one. The grief associated with this loss is in one's consciousness. Experiencing grief at the death of a person we love or who matters to us as universal as it is painful is central to the human condition. Grief offers us a unique and powerful opportunity to grow in self-knowledge.
