She graduated from the University of Economics in Bratislava, the Faculty of Business Economy with its seat in Košice (1994-1999). She was awarded an academic degree of an engineer (Ing.) in the field of Economics and Business Management.
She completed the doctoral studies at the University of Economics Bratislava, Faculty of Business Economy in Košice in the years 2000 – 2003. She was awarded an academic degree of PhD in the field of Sectoral and Branch Economics in the specialization of Trade and Industrial Economics.
In 2012 she was appointed Associate Professor in the study field of Management at the Faculty of Management of the University of Prešov in Prešov.
She has been working as an Associate Professor at the Department of Economics and Economy at the Faculty of Management and Business since 2012. Her research focuses mainly on the evaluation of business assets, business acquisitions and mergers and the evaluation of the quality of the business environment. The results of her research activities were published in a foreign scientific monograph, domestic scientific monographs, in scientific studies, foreign and domestic scientific journals registered in databases Current Contents, WoS, Scopus and in other foreign and domestic proceedings as well as foreign and domestic publications. She presented partial results of her research at several important domestic and foreign scientific conferences. She is also a co-author of university textbooks and other university teaching materials.
So far, she has been and is a principal investigator and deputy investigator of several successful domestic research grants. (At the same time, she was also a project manager in the development project on the absorption of the EU funds). She is a member of the Scientific Board of the Faculty of Management of the University of Prešov in Prešov.
She was awarded the Price of Rector of the University of Prešov in Prešov in 2009 for her scientific results.
