On 20 September 2022, at the ceremonial meeting convened on the occasion of the opening of the 26th academic year 2022/2023 in the historical building of PKO Black Eagle, Rector's Award was awarded to:

• Professor Ing. Róbert Štefko, Ph.D. (Rector's Award for the year 2021 awarded to creative employees of UP for significant contribution to science),
• Mgr. Marta Miškufová, PhD. (Rector's Award for the successful representation of UP).
