On 11-13 September 2024, the 42th International Conference on Mathematical Methods in Economics (MME 2024) was held at the Jan Evangelista Purkyně University in Ústí nad Labem, Czech Republic. It was organized in cooperation with the Czech Society for Operational Research and Czech Econometric Society. Member of the Department of Finance, Accounting and Mathematical Methods, associate professor PhDr. Petra Vašaničová, PhD. actively participated in this conference and presented paper Comparative Analysis of Bankruptcy Prediction Models in Metallurgical Industry: Logistic Regression versus Artificial Intelligence Techniques (authors: Stanislav Letkovský, Sylvia Jenčová, Marta Miškufová, Petra Vašaničová). The paper is one of the outputs of the project KEGA 001PU-4/2022.
