Within the framework of international cooperation and expanding partnerships of the University of Prešov with Vietnam, a business trip of members of the University Management - Vice-Rector for International and External Relations, Bursar and President of the Academic Senate of PU was carried out. This trip included working meetings at the Embassy of the Slovak Republic in Hanoi with the Consul General and the Economic Diplomat, other important meetings with the Vice-Chancellor of the Vietnam National University in Hanoi and with the management of the Institute of Philosophy of the Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences. The trip aimed to establish closer relations with Vietnamese academic and scientific institutions, identify common areas of cooperation, expand opportunities for mutual exchange of students and staff, and explore the potential of joint research projects. At the meeting with the representatives of the Embassy, the possibilities of supporting Slovak-Vietnamese cooperation, especially in the field of higher education, were discussed.
