doc. Mgr. Eva Benková, PhD.

Eva Benková studied English language and literature in a combination of Adults’ training and education with a specialization of Human Resources Management at the Faculty of Arts, the University of Prešov in Prešov (the predecessor of today's management study at the Faculty of Management and Business PU in Prešov). In 2014, she completed her PhD. Studies in General Linguistics at the Faculty of Arts, PU in Prešov and successfully defended her dissertation thesis on communication and the genres of academic discourse. Since 2004, she has been working at the Faculty of Management and Business of PU in Prešov as a lecturer of English language. In her pedagogical activities she uses her knowledge of English language and management in teaching English for management, business and tourism. In her research activities she focuses on various aspects of communication in management and business, on holistic approach to the personality of a manager as well as solving problems of intercultural communication in management.

Since September 2015, she has been the Vice-Dean for International Relations at the Faculty of Management and Business. She is responsible for leading the Department of International Relations, developing cooperation with foreign partner universities and finding new international partners for cooperation in the fields of science, research, education and exchanges of students, academics and non-academic staff.

She is an author and co-author of several scientific and professional works (60) and has participated in several scientific domestic and international conferences. She has completed international mobility in Greece and the Czech Republic.
