About the Rectorate
The Rectorate represents the university-wide workplace within the meaning of Art. 5 of the Organizational Rules of the University of Presov. It is the management, executive and control workplace of the university, which carries out management, organizational, coordination, consulting-advisory, record-keeping, entrepreneurial and control activities in the fields of study, science, economics, technology-investment, personnel, legal, information technologies, external relations, marketing and internal administration for the purpose of ensuring the needs of the university. The Rectorate carries out the following activities:
- ensure, in terms of material and administrative aspects, the activities of the Rector of the university and other representatives of self-governing bodies, in particular the Vice-Rectors, the Bursar, the Academic Senate and the Scientific Board of the University of Presov,
- preparation and processing of documents necessary for the fulfillment of the university obligations, especially in the field of accounting, statistics, prescribed records and for the preparation of summary reports and overviews for the university,
- to coordinate the activities of the Dean's Offices of faculties, university-wide workplaces, special-purpose facilities, priestly seminaries and specialized university workplaces,
- ensure specialized services for other university workplaces, contact with state administration bodies and other bodies and manage university property.
