He is a graduate of the Faculty of Manufacturing Technologies, the Technical University of Košice with the seat in Prešov, in the field of general mechanical engineering with the specialization in manufacturing technologies and in 2002 he was awarded an academic degree of mechanical engineer. Then he worked for two years in the manufacturing sector and in 2004 he left for the University of Prešov in Prešov. He was awarded an academic degree of PhD in 2006 at the Faculty of Manufacturing Technologies of the Technical University in Košice with the seat in Prešov in the field of engineering technologies and materials with the focus on machining, forming and surface treatment processes. In 2008 he returned to the private sector, where he worked until August 2016 as a director of a manufacturing company. He is scientifically active in the fields of production technologies with a focus on production technologies and surface treatment processes, operational management, logistics and the application of statistical methods in the field of research and management of production processes. He is an author of more than 120 publication outputs in the relevant areas of research including 8 monographs, 5 contributions in Current Contents journals and almost 40 contributions indexed in Scopus database.
