6️⃣GALLUP OCHUTNÁVKA
On November 27, 2025, the Euraxess Center at the University of Prešov launched its pilot event for doctoral students and young researchers with a workshop that highlighted, both practically and theoretically, the value of developing strengths and managing weaknesses. Workshop participants were able to discover their talents together through various activities and gradually develop their career growth.
The lecturers were Mr. and Mrs. Palaščák from the organization Use Your Talents, who presented in an inspiring way the theoretical basis of Gallup's tests based on the research of Donald O. Clifton, chairman of Gallup®, known as the father of strengths psychology and the grandfather of positive psychology. The lecturers offered workshop participants various activities through which they could get to know each other and discover the value of self-awareness. Each participant could take the Gallup test and receive individual coaching.
The event was financially supported by the Ministry of Education, Research, Development and Youth of the Slovak Republic.
