The Archives of the University of Presov is a specialised workplace that receives, registers, protects and makes available archival documents from the university activities and its legal predecessors. It methodically directs and controls the activities of the Registry Centre and, in cooperation with the Ministry of the Interior of the Slovak Republic, carries out expert supervision over the disposal of registry records and the transfer of archival documents to the Archive. The organizational structure of the Archive also includes the Registration Centre and the Filing Offices. The Registration Centre is the workplace of the administrator of the registry and the electronic registry, which methodically directs and coordinates professional activities related to the administration of the university registry, including the activities of the Filing Offices according to the Registration Rules of the University of Presov. Filing offices are workplaces that ensure the receiving, sorting, recording, allocation and sending of mail through the electronic registry management system according to the Registry Regulations of the University of Presov.
