On 16 February, the Ambassador of the Portuguese Republic to Slovakia visited the University of Prešov. During a pleasant and constructive meeting with the university’s rector, they discussed the possibilities of introducing Portuguese language instruction at our university and further developing cooperation in the field of international education.

The discussions also covered the planned participation of the University of Prešov in the Slovakia–Portugal Academic Forum, which will take place in April in Košice. Both parties expressed interest in strengthening mutual ties and supporting the mobility of students and academics.

The meeting confirmed the shared interest in deepening relations and developing long‑term partnerships in the areas of education, culture, and international cooperation.
