Advancing Cooperation Between Prešov and Toruń

The University of Prešov is interested in developing inter-institutional cooperation with Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń (UMK). On December 2, Mária Kardis, Vice-Rector for International and External Relations at UNIPO, and Kamil Kardis, representative of the Greek Catholic Faculty of Theology, participated in a series of business meetings at UMK.

During the meetings with Magdalena Barwiołek, Vice-Rector for International Relations at UMK, Maciek Serowania, Dean of the Faculty of Law and Public Administration at UMK, Dariusz Kotecki, Dean of the Faculty of Theology at UMK, and Jan Wiśniewski, Director of the Regional Center for International Discussion (RODM Wielkopolska and Kujawsko-Pomorskie), a clear vision for future cooperation was presented. Discussions focused on opportunities for joint activities in the areas of study programs, scientific research, and academic mobility.

This was followed by a meeting with representatives of the Regional Office of Kujawsko-Pomorskie (Marshal’s Office of the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Region), specifically with Denis Dembek, Director of the Department of Foreign Cooperation. The aim of the meeting was to present the potential of the Prešov Region and identify opportunities for international cooperation.
