University of Prešov at CEEDUCON 2025: Digitalization of Mobilities and New Partnerships

On November 19–20, 2025, Prague hosted the 7th edition of the CEEDUCON (Central European Education Conference), which built on the successful tradition of CZEDUCON and introduced a new international dimension. The event became a central platform for discussions on the internationalization of higher education, sustainable cooperation, and the future skills of graduates.

The conference was organized by the Czech National Agency for International Education and Research (DZS), welcoming more than 900 participants, over 130 speakers, and offering 50 professional sessions. The participation of the University of Prešov was supported by the Slovak Academic Association for International Cooperation (SAAIC), for which we express our sincere gratitude.

University of Prešov on Stage: Digitalization of Mobility

A highlight of the conference was a dedicated session on implementing and digitalizing international mobility processes. Three universities presented their approaches: Masaryk University, University of Prešov, and Vorarlberg University of Applied Sciences.

The University of Prešov was represented by Petra Vaňová, who showcased:

  • Integration of the Erasmus Without Paper (EWP) network into the university’s internal IT systems.
  • Digitalization of mobility processes to reduce administrative burden.
  • Improved user experience for students and staff.
  • Sustainability and interoperability of solutions that add value to the academic community.

This presentation confirmed that the University of Prešov is among the institutions actively implementing European initiatives and modernizing its processes in line with digitalization trends.
