THE UNIVERSITY OF PREŠOV IN PREŠOV has been a stable constituent of the Slovak higher education space for a longer period of time. At present, the University of Prešov consists of 8 faculties:

Faculty of Humanities and Natural Sciences, Faculty of Management,
Faculty of Education, Faculty of Arts, Greek-Catholic Theological Faculty,
Orthodox Theological Faculty, Faculty of Sports, Faculty of Health Care.

Some of its faculties have been here for more than a half century, other for several decades and in case of the younger ones just for several years.

The Faculty of Management is the only public higher education institution of an economic type in Prešov region offering accredited study programmes at all three levels (Bachelor’s, Master’s, Doctoral) in the field of study 3.3.15 Management.

The Department of Tourism and Hotel Management has a rich history and excellent experience in teaching spa tourism and it focuses on management of spa enterprises and provides students with practical lessons led by the top management of Bardejov spa.
