AKDENIZ UNIVERSITY in Antalya, Turkey
It is a campus university founded in 1982, it has 11 faculties and a conservatory, 4 vocational schools providing bachelor’s degree courses, 8 vocational schools established in Antalya and its surrounding districts which offer 2-year courses, and 4 graduate schools providing education at master’s and doctoral level.
School of Tourism and Hotel Management, providing students with bachelor’s degree courses is situated in the region of Antalya in Turkey. It offers education at two departments - Hospitality Management and Travel Management. Students have the opportunity to specialise in the branch of their choice and during their study they gain sound knowledge of modern management techniques taught by experts in a productive learning environment. The graduates of the school might be employed is tourism and hotel management positions in Turkey and abroad. Although a subject of spa tourism in not included in the study programme, the students’ sound knowledge of tourism forms a solid basis for extending their specialisation to the area of spa tourism.
