During Mobility
Welcome to the University of Prešov!
During your Erasmus+ stay, you may encounter various academic or administrative matters that need attention — from adjusting your Online Learning Agreement (OLA) to accessing student services or extending your mobility period. This section provides essential information and contacts to help you navigate your time at UNIPO smoothly and make the most of your exchange experience.

How to Make Changes to Your Online Learning Agreement (OLA)
1️⃣ What Are “Changes to the Learning Agreement”?
Sometimes, after arriving at your host university, you might need to adjust your course list — for example:
- A course is no longer available
A timetable conflict appears
You find a better-suited course
In these cases, you must submit “Changes to the Learning Agreement” in your Online Learning Agreement (OLA) platform.
2️⃣ When to Make the Changes
- Usually within the first 2-3 weeks of the semester.
- Always consult both your home and host coordinators before submitting.
3️⃣ Step-by-Step Process
Step 1: Log into Your OLA Account
Go to https://learning-agreement.eu and sign in using your Erasmus+ credentials or academic email.
Step 2: Open Your Existing Learning Agreement
- Find your approved OLA.
- Click on “Changes” (this will create the During the Mobility section).
Step 3: Modify Your Courses
You can:
- Add a new course (to replace or supplement an old one)
- Delete a course (if you dropped it or it’s unavailable)
- Change ECTS credits or course titles (if something differs from the original).
🟣 IMPORTANT Tip: Make sure that the total ECTS credits still meet your home university’s requirements.
4️⃣ Step 4: Provide Reasons for Changes
Briefly explain why the change was necessary (e.g., “Course not offered this semester,” “Schedule overlap,” etc.).
5️⃣ Step 5: Get Approvals
Once you have signed it/ submitted the Changes by clicking on the sign button:
- Your home university coordinator will review and sign.
- Then the University of Prešov faculty/departmental coordinator will review and sign.
- After both signatures are complete, the changes are officially approved.
6️⃣ Step 6: Save or Download the Updated OLA
After full approval, download and keep a copy of your updated Learning Agreement for your records.
7️⃣ Helpful Tips
- Always communicate early with both coordinators.
- Keep an eye on deadlines.
- Double-check ECTS totals.

Wi-fi network
University of Prešov offers its students a free wi-fi network on all premises of the university. Studnets with active eduroam crediantial may connect to the wi-fi without obtaining University of Prešov login. Simply use your home university login and password (only works if your home university uses eduroam network as well).
If the access doesn´t work, you may have to wait till the IT department creates your credentials and till you receive an email with login access to IDM and MAIS system. If the log in still doesn´t work, make sure that the wifi properties on your phone or laptop are chosen as follows:
*Certificate column - do not verify + The identity column in the bottom part of the picture - nametoMAIS@unipo.sk
Microsoft 365 (Outlook and other apps)
Information on creating/opening your university email can be found after logging in to MAIS and clicking on Profile. The format of the email is usually name.surname@smail.unipo.sk and is created after student´s arrival to Prešov for their mobility. If the email address "@smail.unipo.sk" is not yet listed in the Profile section of the MAIS, the mailbox has not yet been created. The password for the e-mail is the same as for MAIS.
The account is valid for the duration of the study period. After the end of the exchange period, the account will be canceled.Once logged in to the email, students may download any of the Microsoft 365 apps offered in the university student package. In case of login problems, contact your coordinator and they will communicate the issue with the IT department.
IMPORTANT! - Once the student ends their mobility/exchange, the apps will stop working.
Catering IS (Canteen)
Ordering meals via the internet – WebKredit application (also contains menu) - Login data for WebKredit and MobilKredit 2 applications are the same as for the IDM system (or possibly MAIS). This is due to unified login credentials.
The Dining Information System (hereinafter SIS) enables automated ordering (reservation), restaurant, or combined meal selection in the Student Canteen at Ul. 17. novembra 13 using university cards as a replacement for the classic system of paper meal vouchers. The Dining Information System is currently used by employees and students.
- Student Canteen at Ul. 17. novembra 13
The canteen provides meals for students and employees from 10:30 to 15:00 using chip cards and paper meal vouchers, with a choice of five lunch menus. - Meal order cancellation (lunch/dinner) for all employees and students dining at the Student Canteen, Ul. 17. novembra 13, is possible no later than 12:00 noon on the day for which the order was placed. This applies to orders made via WebKredit, MobilKredit 2, and the touchscreen terminal.

If you’d like to extend your Erasmus+ stay at the University of Prešov, follow these simple steps:
- Check the possibility of extension
- Contact your home university’s Erasmus+ coordinator to ask if an extension is possible and if you’re eligible for additional funding.
- Inform UNIPO early
- Let the International Relations Office (IRO) at UNIPO know about your intention to prolong your mobility as soon as possible — ideally at least one month before your current mobility ends.
- Agree on new study plans
- Discuss new subjects with your academic coordinators at both universities and repare and sign the Changes to the Online Learning Agreement (OLA) for the extended period.
- Submit the necessary documents
- Send the signed prolongation request and updated OLA to both your home university and the UNIPO International Office for approval.
- Wait for confirmation
- You can officially stay longer only after receiving approval from both universities and confirmation of Erasmus+ grant availability.
- Update your stay arrangements
- Extend your accommodation, insurance, and residence permit (if applicable) to cover the new period of mobility.
🛂 Residence Permit for Non-EU Citizens
If you are a non-EU student, make sure your visa or residence permit remains valid for the entire extended period of your stay in Slovakia. If you have a visa that will expire before your new departure date, you must apply for a temporary residence in Slovakia at the Foreign Police Office before your visa expires.
Start the process at least 30 days before the expiration date.
Make sure you have all the required documents confirming your extended studies at UNIPO, accommodation, and financial means that will need to be submitted at the Foreign Police office appointment.
The Welcome Office or International Relations Office can help you with obtaining the appointment at the police so you can submit all the required documents and pay the residence permit fee.
