Abstract

Objective study brings theological view on a question of mystical experiences in the life of Simeon the New Theologist. Every personal mystical experience has fundamental importance in his life because Simeon through it becomes with individual way to the closer contact with uncreated Gods light. To see Gods light in Orthodox Church means to have intensive communion with God who reveals this way to the man and world. According to Simeon's opinion already personal spiritual communion with God presents centre of real authentic Christian life. This way his mystical experiences confirm biblical true and even early patristic evidences about real of man "to see God" /Mt 5, 9/, although not by essence which is impossible but by blessing.
