About the workplace
The Greek Catholic priestly seminary prepares future priestly vocations and is therefore an imprtant part of the Prešov eparchy. Life in the seminary should reflect the life of the Church, so that the seminarians learn to participate in the life of the whole Church.
Since 1992, the magazine Prameň (The Source) of Greek Catholic theologians has been published. Tradition, liturgy and ceremonies are represented by the Seminary Choir of St. Roman Sladkopevec. Since 1995, the gospel music-evangelism group Anastasis has been operating, playing modern music and engaging in evangelism.
In addition to their personal spiritual life, seminarians regularly devote themselves to the education and formation of young people, ministers, gypsies, children with hearing impairment, the sick and the elderly.
