Department description

The Department of Educology of Sports is a workplace in the structure of the Faculty of Sports, University of Presov. Its predecessor, Department of Sport Educology, was integrated into the Faculty of Sports since its establishment in 2004.

Pedagogical staff in the department contribute with their professional capacity to education of future physical education teachers, coaches and other experts in sports. Pedagogical activities in the department are focused on specific problems of didactics of sports and sport games. The department provides the professional methodological preparation of students, implementation of the integrated practical skills in the educational process of physical education and sports at all levels into the forming spectrum of professional competencies of its future graduates.
