A department was established within the CKVV, which will fulfill the function of a contact point for contact with the industry. It is a workplace for contact with the external environment.

Activities of the contact point for contact with industry:
 develop relations with the business environment, 
build cooperation and partnerships between the academic sector and economic practice,
keep records of companies implementing research and development in cooperation with Prešovská the University of Prešov,
to look for potential partners from the private sector
promote research, development and commercialization of the results of Prešov University in Prešov to the public
