The department coordinates activities in the areas of strategic planning and development of the university, European Union programmes and the preparation of long-term plan proposals including its implementation which is also related to the development of cooperation between the university faculties and workplaces. It builds and coordinates cooperation with regional institutions of public administration and other regional actors, monitors current calls of management and intermediary bodies for European Union structural funds, grants and the possibility of university involvement in projects. It provides methodological help and professional coordination of activities in the preparation and implementation of projects co-financed from European Union structural funds in terms of formality and content, or independent preparation of these projects. The department coordinates the activities of project managers in accordance with the project activities and directs their activities in accordance with the adopted methodologies valid for the implementation of projects. It implements approved university projects in cooperation with the competent project team. It also communicates with partner institutions throughout the entire life cycle of the project. The department performs internal control and ongoing monitoring of approved European Union structural fund projects, processes overviews, outputs, manuals of projects from the European Union and state programmes. It ensures the economic agenda of approved projects from EU structural funds in terms of formality and content. The department ensures the comprehensive marketing system of the university in cooperation with the university faculties and other workplaces, it coordinates the marketing activities of the university mainly in the field of marketing communication, processes and updates the cooperation profile of the university with the external environment. It also ensures that the academic community is informed, coordinates the documentation and archiving of photo documentation and video documentation from events organized by the university, manages the preparation of actual university promotional materials, ensures the university participation in exhibitions and fairs, organizationally manages the preparation of graphic designs promoting the university products and services, monitors references about the university in periodicals and media. The department also coordinates the provision of adequate information about the institution, ensures the university marketing communication to the public, students and employees of the university. In cooperation with the Centre of Computer Technologies, it improves the university website, manages the activities of the First Contact Centre - including the Uniposhop, reprographic work and ISIC/ITIC card management in cooperation with the Centre of Computer Technologies.
