The department coordinates and supports the development and improvement of the quality of information technologies, participates in the creation of development plans and concepts for the development of the university with special emphasis on the introduction of new information and communication systems, didactic technology, modernization of teaching premises with the aim of comprehensive streamlining of informatization processes in active professional cooperation with the Centre of Computer Technologies. The department participates in the creation and improvement of conditions for the implementation of the internal quality assurance system of the university and the preparation of related internal regulations, methodological directives, etc. It ensures the development of proposals for the establishment of pedagogical, research, development, information workplaces and special-purpose facilities of the university, prepares proposals for the allocation of premises to university workplaces. The department implements the adopted dislocation measures, ensures the cooperation of the university with state authorities, state administration authorities and other legal entities. Through active cooperation and methodical management of student dormitories, the department increases the level of the accommodation process in student dormitories, proposes measures to improve their quality and ensures the coordination of student life. It also prepares and coordinates the processing and publication of the annual report on the university activities, methodically guides the Vice-Deans for the development of individual university faculties.
