The department organizes and executes control activities in matters that fall within the competence of the university, especially in the area of compliance with generally binding legal regulations, internal university regulations, statutes of faculties and internal regulations of university centres and other units. It also provides activities related to compliance with financial discipline, economy and efficiency in handling university funds and property. Part of the work of this department is the administration and handling of complaints and making information available in accordance with Act No. 211/2000 Coll. on Free Access to information and on Amendments and Additions to Certain Acts. The department is responsible for the supervision of GDPR at the university and prepares the documentation required by legislation, mainly in the form of the Protection Plan, the Crisis Plan of the subject of economic mobilization, the Plan of the main tasks in the field of crisis management, crisis planning, defence planning, civil emergency planning, economic mobilization, civil protection of public and protection of classified facts.
