Applications for the 24th Visegrad Summer School Are Now Open
We are pleased to announce that applications for the 24th Visegrad Summer School are now open. We would be grateful for your support in sharing this opportunity with your students, faculty members, and professional networks.
Held at Villa Decius in Krakow, the Visegrad Summer School is a prestigious 10‑day interdisciplinary program that brings together young professionals, researchers, and practitioners from the Visegrad Group, Central and Eastern Europe, the Western Balkans, and beyond.
The 24th edition will take place 5–15 July 2026.
Theme of 2026: Future of Information
This year’s program will explore key issues related to democratic resilience, disinformation, artificial intelligence, and the growing impact of digital platforms on public debate and governance. Participants will critically examine how evolving information ecosystems influence contemporary societies and political processes within the European Union and its wider neighborhood.
Program Highlights
Expert-led lectures and discussions on media systems, democracy, technology governance, and international cooperation.
Foresight-driven workshops using the Future Literacy methodology to support innovative and interdisciplinary thinking.
Networking opportunities with professionals and peers from across the region.
