From 22 to 26 September 2025, the University of Prešov hosted a Welcome Week for international students.

The university welcomed not only Slovak students but also international students enrolled in English-taught study programs, as well as those coming through the Erasmus+ program and the National Scholarship Programme.

Throughout the week, students enjoyed a rich program that included an introductory meeting at the Rectorate, a tour of the university campus, a guided excursion around the city of Prešov, a pub quiz, a trip to the opal mines, and many other engaging activities. These events were organized by volunteers from the university’s ESN Prešov section.
