Editorial - Acta PATRISTICA, volume 12, issue 25/2021

Dear colleagues.

We are pleased to be able to present you in the new issue of the journal with other interesting articles rich in content from various areas of the humanities-oriented scientific disciplines. All studies have a common basis of anthropology for current issues that society asks when looking at social, cultural, or political events in the world. The subject of individual texts is the search for, or rather the renewal of, the meaning of humanity, tolerance, understanding and empathy, perhaps the meaning of man and his life. Each article brings a separate view from a different perspective, from theological-liturgical, social, philosophical, ethical-moral, mass media. Together, the individual studies provide a more comprehensive view of the current social crisis, which moves all areas of the daily life of the individual and the community. The first and second studies introduce us to the issue of tolerance regarding the past, from which we should build stronger, wiser, and richer in experience. Unfortunately, some subsequent studies point to the fact that this is not the case at all. At the same time, they offer suitable means of redress. Theological-liturgical contributions point to a clear view of the way out from a spiritual point of view, because man is a psychosomatic being and many life problems have their solution in man himself. The sixth article is also interesting, which describes today's negative but also positive influence of the media on the opinion-making of society, what means can influence a person's actions and how they affect a person's quality of life.

We believe that individual articles will enrich you personally and professionally and inspire you to further work.
